What is the tent and who started it?
The Tent is a monthly gathering for young adults (18–32) to grow closer to the Lord, connect with the local church, and make like-minded friends. Started by Franchesca and Evan, it evolved from a backyard Bible study called Fran's Yard, sparked by a hunger for fellowship and community.
What are the events like? and how long is it?
Our gatherings take place once a month from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and follow a format similar to a Sunday morning service, with worship, a message, prayer, and post-event fellowship. We encourage attendees to connect and, as Fran always says, “Don’t leave without making a friend!”
Are you guys a church?
The Tent is not a church but a Christian ministry dedicated to helping young adults connect with a local church in their area. If you're looking for a church, speak with one of our team members and ask about our local church cards—we’d love to help you get plugged in!
Do I need to bring anything?
You do not have to bring anything just yourself! If you are wondering if you need to bring a bible, you do not — but if you want to bring one you are more than welcomed to. For those of you that do not own a bible we have free bibles available in the front every Tent. Please feel free to ask a team member and pick one that you like!
Who is allowed to come and what do i wear?
You can wear whatever you would like, come as you are! Any young adult (18-32) that is looking to get to know the Lord is welcomed to join us. Come and see!
